Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the https://servicehero.es website and mobile apps (together, the “Platform”) operated by ServiceHero (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree with any part of them, you may not use the Platform.
2. Additional Terms and Policies

3. Key Definitions
- Platform: The ServiceHero website and mobile apps.
- User: Any person or entity using the Platform.
- Member: A registered user with an account.
- Service Provider: A Member registered to offer services via the Platform.
- Client: A Member posting service requests and receiving quotes.
- Service Request: A job request posted by a Client to receive quotes.
- Quote: A price offer sent by a Service Provider to a Client.
- Lead Cost: The fee paid by the Service Provider to send a quote.
- Service Agreement: Status where the Client and Service Provider confirm a work agreement.
- Commission: The fee ServiceHero charges the Service Provider once an agreement is reached.
- ServiceHero Balance: Funds in the Service Provider’s account to send quotes or pay commissions.
- Promotional Credit: Free credit added to the Balance for promotional reasons.
4. Account Creation and Platform Use
- Only users over 18 years old may register.
- You guarantee that the information you provide when registering is true, complete, and up-to-date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. ServiceHero is not liable for unauthorized access.
ServiceHero is not a service provider itself but a technological platform connecting Clients with independent Service Providers. We do not guarantee Clients will receive quotes or that quotes will turn into agreements.
Service Providers must comply with applicable laws, including necessary licenses, certifications, or insurance. They are independent contractors, not employees or agents of ServiceHero, and set their own prices and schedules.
Clients and Service Providers are responsible for ensuring workplace safety. ServiceHero is not liable for accidents or damages arising from their relationship.
5. User Content
Users are solely responsible for any content they share on the Platform.
ServiceHero may monitor and remove content that violates these Terms or is harmful, including but not limited to:
- Hate speech or racism.
- Insults, defamation, or harassment.
- Sexually explicit content or exploitation of minors.
- Promotion of illegal or terrorist activities.
- Copyright or trademark infringement.
- Spam or fraudulent content.
- Illegal collection of personal data.
Profiles on ServiceHero may be indexed by search engines and visible publicly. Members are responsible for the information they share.
6. Balance, Commissions, and Payments
ServiceHero charges fees such as Lead Cost and Commission as specified on the Platform.
- Service Providers pay to send quotes and contact Clients.
- Payments are deducted from their ServiceHero Balance, first from funds they deposit, then from any promotional credit.
- Promotional credits have no cash value and may be removed at any time.
- Clients pay Service Providers directly for services. ServiceHero does not issue receipts or invoices for these payments.
ServiceHero does not guarantee that any quote will result in an agreement, and Lead Costs are non-refundable if the Client rejects, cancels, or chooses another professional.
Service Providers are responsible for complying with their tax obligations.
7. Communications
To ensure quality and safety, ServiceHero may record and analyze communications between Clients and Service Providers. Such records may be used as evidence in legal proceedings if required.
8. Member Disputes
ServiceHero offers tools to help resolve disputes but is not obligated to intervene or resolve conflicts between Users.
It is prohibited to:
- Post false reviews or comments unrelated to actual services received or provided.
- Use offensive, discriminatory, or abusive language in communications with other members or ServiceHero staff.
ServiceHero may suspend or remove accounts and content that violate these rules without prior notice.
9. Links to Third-Party Sites
The Platform may contain links to external sites. ServiceHero does not control or assume responsibility for their content, practices, or policies. We encourage you to review their terms and conditions.
10. Intellectual Property
ServiceHero and its licensors own the intellectual property rights to the Platform and its content (including names, logos, graphics, text, code, etc.). Use without authorization is prohibited except as permitted in these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ends, but certain provisions will survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability).
12. Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by Spanish law. If any provision is held invalid, the rest will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ServiceHero regarding the Platform.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will try to provide at least 15 days’ notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
